The Shape of Remembering
Photographic emulsion lifts on various surfaces
2023–ongoing
The Shape of Remembering is an ongoing photographic series exploring the relationship between memory, place, and the physical life of the photograph.
Through photographic emulsion lifts, images are removed from their original surface and allowed to fold, tear, stretch, and shift. The material becomes a collaborator, transforming places once documented into something closer to how they are remembered—imperfect, layered, and continually changing.
